The following are for the Sampo DVE620 DVD Player.
The following instructions may be needed for RCE encoded discs.
Region changing instructions for Codefree Sampo DVD Players
1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. Press the buttons 3, 8, 8, 8 and 3 on your remote control
3. You will now enter the hidden setup page, and can change the player to any Region or set it to Region Free.
To change the video output format between PAL and NTSC
1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. Press the buttons 7, 2, 5, 5 and 5 on your remote control
3. You should now be able to change the output between PAL, NTSC and Auto.
To disable Macrovision on this player
1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. Press the buttons 5, 9, 0, 4, 1 and 9 on your remote control
3. You will now enter the hidden setup page, and can turn Macrovision off and also disable CSS
