This Blu Ray player is modified with our WorldClad WC12BR hardware modification. It allows playback of any region Blu Ray Disc and Regions 0-8 for DVDs. All protected DVDs from any region can be played back and the player can output PAL or NTSC. It also operates on 110-240 volt power so this player can litterally play discs from all over the world, anywhere in the world.

Product as far as quality is awesome. I have it paired with a Sharp LCD and they "talk to each other" which is convenient and the sound is great - almost like surround. My only complaint I have is with Netflix you have to put all the instant plays in Queue on a computer before the player will see them to play -- I maybe missing something but that the only way I have found. I wish you could browse Netflix like on a computer. Great player would buy again and recommend.

This is my first blu-ray player. I bought it a few days ago because I like to watch blu rays and DVDs from other countries. I didn't really need the internet capability but since it came with everything it needs for it, I was able to take the player out of the box, connect it to my TV and stereo, create a Netflix account on the fly, setup the connection with my home router and begin to watch a movie in about 20 minutes ! This has been the best experience. I never used an online streaming service and never had a Netflix account. Setting it up was a breeze. The picture quality for both Netflix instant and DVD's are fantastic. I couldn't be happier. A very friendly player. You can also view other online content as well.
